Bernard J. Luther - CEO and Senior Engineer Bernard J. Luther is Applied Consultants’ Chief Executive Officer and Senior Engineer. Mr. Luther is a registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG), and Certified Hydrogeologist (CHG). He has over 25 years of experience conducting multidisciplinary projects involving Geotechnical, Hydrogeological, and Environmental Projects. Mr. Luther’s expertise extends to project and data management, plan preparation, permit compliance, environmental due diligence, contaminated soil and groundwater assessment, fate and transport of contaminants in the subsurface, human health and ecological risk assessment, remedial investigation/feasibility testing (RI/FS), remediation, regulatory case closure requests, and litigation and mediation support. These services have been conducted for a variety of project types, including housing developments, hillside stabilization, subsurface dewatering, burn dump/landfill sites, fuel service stations, bulk fuel terminals, former oil fields, manufacturing/industrial facilities and dry cleaners. Christopher J. Maxin (Max) - President and Senior Project Director Applied Consultants’ President and Senior Project Director will be Christopher J. Maxin, Professional Geologist (P.G.). Mr. Maxin has over 17 years of experience conducting multidisciplinary projects in the Geotechnical, Environmental, Hydrogeologic, and Litigation Support fields. These services have been conducted for a variety of project types, including bulk fuel storage facility design and construction; environmental assessment of decommissioned power plant; environmental assessment and remediation of service stations, dry-cleaning establishments, and metal plating firms; wetlands restoration; assessment of manufacturing/industrial facilities; hillside stabilization; soil dewatering; and soils assessment for construction . Most recently, Mr. Maxin was the designed community water wells with delivery systems and road widening projects for isolated villages as part of a humanitarian assistance program in Afghanistan. Aaron T. Hill - Project Engineer and Senior Draftsman Aaron Hill is Applied Consultants’ Project Engineer and Senior Draftsman. Mr. Hill has over 8 years experience managing Geotechnical and Environmental Projects throughout Southern and Northern California. He has worked on diverse projects ranging from geotechnical seismic studies to mold assessments. Christopher Tuttle - Soils Laboratory Manager and Senior Technician Christopher Tuttle is Applied Consultants’ Soils Laboratory Manager and Senior Technician. With over 30 year experience, Mr. Tuttle provides expertise in soils analysis and grading control unparallel in the industry. Mr. Tuttle has worked on hundreds of projects through Southern California ranging from single family residences to the Diamond Valley Dam Project in Riverside, California. Mr. Tuttle’s role on this project would be to oversee soils testing and ensure that all design specifications in regards to fill soils and footings are met. |
